Yes, that's what I said was the plan. Pass him off, like McCain, as a moderate that will get the mainstream vote. Once he gets the nod he'll only get the independents that want a liberal and realize Obama screwed them. (The center is a magical place). Most conservatives will refrain from voting since the end result is the same. Obama wins.
