Obama's Hollywood contributors aren't the big corporations behind these bills. In fact, a large number of those in the entertainment industry aren't very happy the companies controlling the record labels and film distribution. See recent statements by George Lucas regarding his latest film, and his "retirement".
With the exception of Warner Music, none of the major record labels are US based companies, but they certainly want their fingers in the pie when it comes to writing legislation. One of the major players from the film industry with their hands all over these bills is News Corp, and it's not likely Obama is going to be on the same page with them.
