If you had simply said all of this to begin with, like this, then I believe the discussion might have gone differently. Opening with a slam against the study because an actor's name was tied to it, while certainly a conversation starter, was probably not the best way to introduce your views on the subject. :)
I don't know of any other studies yet. I haven't looked. I haven't cared. The results are out there in the open if anyone cares to try to disprove the findings.
