We had snow for about 3 weeks total here in Chicago. The rest of the time
is was in the upper 30's to mid 50's. That is what I think about when I
think of mid-south to gulf coast winters...not Chicago. This was a slo
supposed to be a very severe winter too. Though I can't shake the feeling
that even though we have 70's and 80's now...we are still going to get hit
with a major snowstorm soon.

We didn't really have a winter in SC. We had frost maybe five nights.
The rest of the time, it was too warm. I would just say it is one of those
things, but it bothered me because I kept waiting for winter to arrive. I
should not be able to paint the house in December.
