Handbrake is ok - considering it's price - free.

I use a variety of applications - depending on the need.

If you want to pay - you can get a really app called DVD Fab.

They have a free version also - but output will contain a watermark.

Since I developed / edit / etc videos for clients... it looks better if the
watermark is my own.
