I performed on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial when I was there in 90. Looking out over the reflecting pool, watching birds weave in and out of formation, having soldiers visiting the Vietnam memorial standing at attention...it was a heck of an experience.
I didn't get to see the pentagon, that might be fun. The Washington Monument was closed when I was there last due to high winds as I recall.
