Ok, partial answer to my own question. I looked up Oath Keepers on the SLPC page and they show up here:

Listing here does not imply that the groups themselves advocate or engage in violence or other criminal activities, or are racist." and then they proceed to list some 1200-odd groups. So Oath Keepers aren't actually listed as a Hate Group but rather a Patriot group, which I think is pretty true. I don't like all 1200 groups being lumped in together, however, as it loses all useful distinction and paints everyone with the same broad brush.
