I'm not sure what Green peace does that would be considered violent? Annoying, intrusive, yes...but violent? I guess the Peta members who splash fake blood on fur wearers might be considered "violent"..but give me that form of violence over shooting abortion doctors in the head. My opinions are just based on what I see and read.
