in San Francisco last night, two police cars were resonding "code 3" (red lights and sirens) to arrest a man reportedly attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend. He had stabbed her several times with a cleaver, and caused another injury I don't even want to mention.
The police cars collided at high speed at an intersection. One police officer dead, another in critical condition, two more treated and released.
