I remember back in 1990, there was a traffic accident involving a police
car and another car. The person in the other car was drunk, broadside the
police car and killed the police officer.

When the call came into 911, there was no mention about the police car
involved. The radio call was originally sent to the police car involved in
the accident. After a minute of no response, they sent the call to another
police car while they tried to find the officer (the one killed in the
accident) that did not respond to the call.
