So let me get this straight, they bribed someone to let them in, stole the
data (supposedly), and are publicly attempting to extort money money?

As with some of the commenters on the article, it doesn't pass the smell
test to me.   Even if it is legit, the people involved are now on the hook
for how many felonies?
