right of center in most civilized places other than the US. In the US I'm left of center.
But then the question becomes is it a civilized place? Seriously before moving to the US my only political involvement was with the Conservative Party of Canada, to the point where I was a delegate to the leadership convention. I come down here to the US, my political ideas and beliefs did not change, but I went from very moderate slightly right of center, to a left winger. The US is just so much out of step with the civilized world.
