He did...in a speech the day after the debate. He said something to the effect of "While Romney is letting wall street off the hook, he wants to go after Sesame Street. It's about time someone goes after Big Bird...Elmo better watchout..." totallyparaphrased...but I will see if I can find the video...it was a pretty good rebuttal (which should have happened at the debate...not the day after)
