A while back I posted a question about Exchange (might have been more than a year ago, time flies)
Well, the decision was made to upgrade our internal email server from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. Something bad was discovered as we went to do so. Whatever bone head set up the Exchange 2003 server put a period at the end of the "Organizational Unit" name. Now we're stuck trying to figure out the best way to get 40-odd mailboxes and a set of public folders moved. That damn period took what was supposed to be a "click-click-click" experience and turned it into an abject nightmare. At this point we're looking at going the "archive" route - that is using a third party tool to export the mailboxes from the 2003 to a temporary spot and then import them into a clean install of 2010. So far I've found the Barracuda Mail Archiver, GFI MailArchive and MailArchiva. Wondering if anyone has any experience with these tools (specifically the last two) or if there are any suggestions on better ways to make this migration work. Happy Friday! Until Later! C.
