I am 100% in favor of term limits.  One term would eliminate all the
problems that arise with running for re-election.  I also think service in
Congress should be voluntary, no salaries or pensions, just basic expenses
for staff and travel.

I especially think the Presidency should be one term - maybe extend it to
six or eight years, no re-election ever.

As for the other agencies, no one should be allowed to serve on the board
of government agency that oversees an industry that they have worked in
during the previous five years - or maybe ten.

And as I've said before, make political parties, PACs and lobbying illegal.

Of course, since the lobbyists and PACs own Congress, this will never
happen unless the people absolutely demand it.   It might happen in the
states where the citizens can put propositions on the ballot, if we could
figure out a way to block outside money.
