In November 2012 the "Center on Budget and Policy Priorities" pointed out
that at current projected spending levels, the trust funds for Social
Security (disability and old age) will collectively be emptied in 2033.
 "After 2033, when  the combined trust funds will be exhausted if no
changes are made, Social Security would still be able pay three-fourths of
its scheduled benefits using its annual tax revenue." -
