In comparing the graphic processor power of the Nexus to the iPad...
- I think (so far) the Nexus wins... Still testing the device.

The Nexus does things with graphics that the iPad cannot seem to do
---- or at least, I haven't seen it do.

Not really sure if I need "that much graphics power though".

My tabs are not really used for games... Mostly business.

Each of my 2 kids have iPads... They learned how to use them immediately.

They left the droid sitting there... And walks play games on the iPads.

And we have tons of educational stuff on the iPads... Not much available for
the droids :(

With no power source, most apps closed, and not in constant use
- My iPads will run all day... Never have to think about it... Power still at
80% when I get home.

Same conditions with the Nexus... There's a noticeable drain on the battery
(about 40% left).

That being said... The droids let you have widgets and screens savers - and I
recently installed this Koi fish background that absolutely - must suck
power... But it looks superb. That probably attributes to the power drain. Will
disable it and see what happens.

I agree with you on Asus not including an SD card.

Location of the Volume and Power buttons are kinda stupid. Volume up is right
next to power. Kinda sucks when you are watching a movie... You Volume Up - and
accidentally turn the device off. It's happened several times.

The droids don't really have a dedicated back button. Sometimes you have to
press the left-arrow... Sometimes back Is located at the top left of the screen.

The application menu drop down is depending on the developer. It's the
developer choose where they want the menu. I've seen top-right, bottom-right...
And no no menu except via a hot link. This makes it confusing.... With the
iOS... The menu is always in the same place. Every time. You don't have to
think about it. There are just some frustrating thing with the droid OS.

I primarily wanted the Nexus for email. I have 5 Exchange account accounts and
a ton of imap accounts. IOS mail is not that great... But so far, nor is are
the droid mail apps I've tried. (Still downloading the playing with them).

I don't consider $250 for the Nexus "to be that bad" considering the $800 I
spent on my iPads...
Or the $600 I spent on the MS Surface RT device (which is actually not a bad
device).

Still waiting for the Surface Pro... thats suppose to be $1000 plus :(
Not sure how well a $1000 tablet will sell.

Have only played with the Galaxy 7 at the store... May look into that one. Will
have same droid issues though.
