32gb should be fine.  Clouds storage should help.

But to me, it's the principle.  If the producers of the 70 dollar tablets
can include a SD slot, the Nexus could have one.  They could even charge a
little extra.  It was a conscious decision to try to send user down the
cattle chute to the cloud.  Consumer training if you will.

A USB drive sticking out of a tablet would be annoying.  Swapping files
would be annoying between the device and drive would be annoying.

Still, Nexus is the best of the android 7" tablets.
