I will tell you that back in the 80's I was a total homophobe. I met a girl who was in the same company as I was when stationed in Germany. We dated for a couple years and she really opened my eyes to many things. Today I am pretty open minded to a lot of things that I normally would not have been. I have family members who are totally against it though. I am happy that I raised my daughter to be open minded as well. I agree with Louis. Don't be a puss with your kids and hope someone else tells them what happens in life. Sit down, be a parent and explain life to them and see what happens.
