There are many types of revolutions and no revolution is achieved solely by
a single means. I still believe that the most important revolutions,
however, occur when a large segment of people come together and insist on
change. Coups may be achieved by a small cadre of men with guns, but true
revolutions are more rare and more lasting. And for a true revolution to
occur, there must be speech. There need not be guns (though they can
sometimes help).
