There are many types of revolutions and no revolution is achieved solely by a single means. I still believe that the most important revolutions, however, occur when a large segment of people come together and insist on change. Coups may be achieved by a small cadre of men with guns, but true revolutions are more rare and more lasting. And for a true revolution to occur, there must be speech. There need not be guns (though they can sometimes help).
