Santa Cruz county, where I live now, gets 70% of its electricity from alternate sources. Alameda County, where I lived before, gets almost all of the electricity from alternate sources. Those numbers are directly from the power companies, so unless you consider them tree-huggers, you are - as usual - wrong.
