One should never take anything at face value.   One should be critical of
everything to start with.  Trust and acceptance is earned, not demanded.

Sure.

I can tell you how your winnings came on the backs of the truly desperate
and/or poor and/or stupid, how gambling addictions leave children starving,
and then I can tell you how the governmental earnings from the lottery are
supposedly spent on a socially acceptable expenditure, but a bait switch is
performed where the pre lottery  funding is removed netting no gain for the
program.



Back to Tesla.  Where is the additional power to charge millions of
electric cars going to come from?

I know that pat answer is renewable energy.  Is the infrastructure in
place?  Who is going to pay for the infrastructure?  Which renewable
energy?

"Electric cars for everyone" sounds great.  So does "End world hunger."
 It's the details that get you.
