I wasn't actually talking about Three Gorges, but the South-North Water Transfer project, expected to cost twice that of the Three Gorges: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South%E2%80%93North_Water_Transfer_Project The ecological impact of any of these projects is sure to be huge, but I'm more interested in learning about them at this point more than I am about being an activist about anything.
