If I use gmail to get the mail it can bog the whole machine down. IE 8, no
chance of upgrade unless done by a network tech, firefox needing to set to
'allow security exception' for each page, etc. Government job means using
what they provide in hardware and software...unless you can slip in a piece
of your own software (like beyond compare and powergrep).
But its a job and I need to put the kids through school and find an
apartment. Bite the bullet and just do it.
