Eh. It's a skewed viewpoint from my perspective as someone that moved from
the US to the UK and was going to stay there, and did for several years.

I never had problem with health care and loved my local doctor and the
access I had. Even dental care was good.
Material things? Brits buy just as much as Americans and love their
"material things".
Washing machine?  I loved my washing machine there. It washed AND dried all
in one unit and it got clothes cleaner than any washing machine I had ever
used.

And all my friends? They had washers and dryers too. No one hung their
laundry throughout the flat.
do some people? Yes of course, same here in the states.

So, um, yeah. Just eh.  Complaining about hanging clothes? Britain "rage"?
Yeah ok.
