True, and that will be different for different people. In our case we
already owned an AppleTV and the Apple laptops / iPads before cutting the
cord. You can accomplish similar with XBox I think.

In our case the only additional cost is the subscriptions and the seasons
we buy on AppleTV. I think it's usually something like $50/mo when you
factor those in.

...and I don't really watch football, so that's not a huge deal breaker for
me. I do love giving the middle finger to Comcast though. That is seriously
a huge part of it for me - no joke. Comcast is such a horrible horrible
company and has been so terrible to work with over the years I have a deep
deep hatred for them. If Comcast were a person, and I met that person on
the street, I would punch them in the face.
