There are certainly lots of mysteries left to be solved. For me I believe
that the scientific community and science in general have presented honest
research and that the scientific method is a valid way to conduct research.
Wherever that leads I am fine with. If scientific observations one day
point to a Stargate on the ocean floor that brought us here, I am fine with
that. If scientific research and observations one day point to a magical
man in the sky who willed us all into existence, I am fine with that too.

I think the discoveries that invalidate long believed hypothesis are just
as exciting as those which advance long held hypothesis. Maybe even more
so. I'm okay and unthreatened with where ever that leads.

But if as long as one theory has an overwhelmingly massive amount more
evidence than all the others combined... Well, I will tend to believe that
one is probably the most likely one.
