That's a sweet bass. I've been playing bass for over 50 years. I've
found this site very helpful, both for beginners and for old folks
like me to add new chops.

This web site has some great articles and stuff. I read it almost
daily: http://www.forbassplayersonly.com/

Also, go to youTube and listen to the greats: James Jamerson, Jaco
Pastorius, Geddy Lee, Leland Sklar, Stanley Clarke, John Entwistle,
Victor Wooten, etc. Get an idea of the style you want to learn.

The best bass advice I received was from my father, who was a session
player during the 50s and 60s. He said "play what you hear, but only
half of it".
