My two guesses as to why it hasn't gotten the press while the others have boil down to blood and impact base. Blood for obvious reasons but impact base... that's who is/would have been affected by the action. Specifically I'm talking about the IRS targeting, the perception of the action seems more severe. Note I say perception. In reality Operation Choke Point and the NSA have more of a national impact but they can be defended by holding up the implied "danger to society" of those being named as targets. Never mind the fact that such targeting goes against the intent if not the letter of the law. Additionally, some of the coverage can be blamed on the reactions that are given by democrats and others on the left. Put Hillary Clinton in a chair saying, "what difference does it make?" (even if it was taken out of context) when it comes to Benghazi and you're going to get more hits/views/links/likes/retweets than the well-crafted responses the DoJ has put out on using the FDIC to force a payday loan company out of business. I had this at the last of my initial email: "I'm not a conspiracy theorist most of the time, but when I am there are multiple points of question or contention that all point to the same result." This is one of those multiple points along with the IRS scandal, Benghazi, VA, NSA and more. I've tried to keep abreast of things, especially for my show, but even there I try to pull in items that haven't been mainstreaming on the networks or top talk shows. Even there I'm somewhat constrained in time and resources to find everything that has been clamored about politically. Until Later! C.
