I'm a programmer from a home office. I'm lucky if I see an adult during the week, let alone a kid. My family is about all I see other than Shabbos. You would win that bet. Usually I don't have a TV for the kids to watch but we're living with my mother-in-law for the moment and she has a tv so the little ones get some. very little though and only because we're weak parents that give into their pleas. My older son (16) watches more because he has his own cell phone and is paying for unlimited internet. That'll stop soon enough. On the other hand, I just lent him a 16gig SD card full of java and android programming stuff and he's digging in. He's really into engineering and may well be a programmer one day though i think he likes hardware better. Now if I could just get him to slow down when he talks to me about the latest phones... :)
Do you see a lot of kids these days who watch excessive television?
