I don't have anything against Agile really. I was just posting the article to start a conversation on the list - it's been so slow lately. I tend to look at things like Agile, take the bits that I think apply and make my life better and then leave the rest. I do this with anything that's an "all or nothing" idea with a rigid set of rules and zealous followers (diets, religion, politics, development methodologies).
