I highly recommend American Express (Blue Cash) for this exact reason. Three times they have caught fraudulent charges and I was never liable for a single one. They have excellent fraud detection too, and their customer service is the best I have ever seen. Not to mention I use it enough that I get about $1500-$1700 cash back every year.
And I never use my debit card as anything but an ATM anymore. Way too much direct exposure to my bank account.
