I highly recommend American Express (Blue Cash) for this exact reason.
Three times they have caught fraudulent charges and I was never liable for
a single one. They have excellent fraud detection too, and their customer
service is the best I have ever seen. Not to mention I use it enough that
I get about $1500-$1700 cash back every year.

And I never use my debit card as anything but an ATM anymore. Way too much
direct exposure to my bank account.

But you don't me to tell you that last part anymore. :)
