My main reason for choosing the iPod over other mP3 players was the
size of the hard drive. The largest previous player would only hold
6g and was hard to find, seemed to offer no support. My first iPod
had 60g, and I ripped almost my entire CD collection to it. When it
was stolen, I replaced it with an 160g which I still have seven years
later and use every day. Few products that I have ever purchased have
held up that well.
