I was thinking it signalled the population's sentiments and an indicator for 2016 election period.
And, I think the Democrats are incompetent when it comes to politics. Like it or not, they have to start playing the GOP game. Long before next midterms we're going to be seeing decisions needing to be made on net neutrality, surveillance, encryption, immigration and other key points that have implications beyond the US borders. We can also consider environmental policies as well, that yes will have effects outside the US but local laws and policies would have a larger effect in any country in this region. Hopefully the repealing of the ridiculous marijuana and prison laws continues State by State without interference from a GOP congress. That seems to be having a spillover effect in the Caribbean, with Jamaica effectively decriminalising personal marijuana use. Still, it was a bit disappointing. Money and PR rules, what congressmen actually do over their term seems to not matter for anything. It's biggest and most recognisable in US politics (because of strong impact of US media) but it's sadly becoming the norm in other countries too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:372868 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
