Well, not long after sending this message (original) DWMX also started acting up. So I reformatted the C and partitioned it into 2 drives, one with win2k pro and the other win2k server. Now to go home tonight and see how things work after reinstalling everything.
LOL about the kids finding me bald! ~~ Stephenie -----Original Message----- From: Erika L. Steph, Did you check your registry and ensure all the crap left over after uninstalling Studio is gone? I would uninstall DWMX, clean out your registry. Then run a registry cleaning utility, because it's good for you. Then defrag, just because it's good for you, whether you need it or not. ;) Double check Add/Remove programs for any listing of Studio in there, just in case. Then try installing Studio again. Contact me off-list if that doesn't work. I know it's a pain, but you'll only tear your hair out and your kids will come home one day and find you bald because you are trying to use DWMX for all your development. I know. My hair's just starting to grow back. <grin> Erika With a K ------------------------------------------------------------ ______________________________________________________________________ Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
