Just got it now... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, July 29, 2002 3:35 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: New Anti-Spam filters
At least you weren't offering to give me bigger breasts. :) I'm building a DB of subjects, senders, IPs and the like to check against in addition to the 3 rules I mentioned. I've got to give an hour or so a day to deal with spam that's been blocked, gotten into the archives (but not the lists), etc. While I'm catching a lot of it, I've seen the general level rise in the last few months. One thing I'm going to do is alter all of the addresses on the site using a technique mentioned to me by a friend (Shlomy Gantz, www.bluebrick.com). Look at his mailto and then look at the source. I've written a UDF to do that for me but it's not documented or anything for distribution. Another time thing. :) > Mike, > > Ouch, I read the article and patent info and wanted to spread the word to > those who could possibly be affected.
