just heard that Kirin (Japanese brewer) claims to have deciphered the original Egyptian hieroglyphics for their traditional beer recipe (4,400 years old).
they have brewed a beer with no foam, the color of dark tea, a flavor supposedly reminiscent of white wine, and 10% alcohol (about twice that of standard beer). Doesn't use hops, so not bitter. Based on barley. It's called "Old Kingdom Beer". Just done for "research purposes" and to present at a Master Brewers conference in Texas, not for commercial production. -Ben ______________________________________________________________________ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
