Yes it seems language has a life of it's own, no matter how much we might
like to pin it down! :-) Thank goodness for it though, think how boring this
world would be otherwise!

See, what everyone needs to realize ... Is....  just like every country
has their own language and dialects, every COUNTRY has it's own
languages and dialects. (yes, repeated on purpose)

England and America, are not the same country....therefore, different
languages and dialects.
Yes, once upon a time, they were the same, but not ANYMORE.

So let the English pronounce and spell their "English" words any way
they want.
The American will do the same with the "American" language.
