Was watching CSPAN (they have a nice IP/TV stream) and heard a very interesting quote from general Dallaire for the Hollocaust Memorial Museum. Apparently during the holocaust in Rwanda, the US government communicated to him that they estimated that the public opinion in the US valued one US casualty the same as 85.000 Rwandese casualties.
