Someone in your office have a Nextel phone? Guy in my last office had one, and if he left it laying near enough to my computer it would emit some signal every now and then that would make my speakers pop. Sometimes even from his cube (which was next to mine) the signal would be strong enough to make it pop. Would happen to other people in the office too...
