I did that last year. It was great. Went to Florida in the middle of winter and stayed with some very non-tech friends. Just went fishing every day. The problem with this plan is that while there you start to rationalize quitting your job, buying a trailer home and picking bottles and cans out of garbage cans to pay the bills.
