Gee Bill, I almost hate to agree with you ... nah, actually I really want to
agree with you ... haha ...

Kind of like the people that complain about OT posts on the Talk list ...
umm, sort by subject, click, shift-click, delete. I can delete many, many
OT threads, or threads about CFMX specific subjects, or threads about Linux,
or threads about Macs, in the same time I'm writing an email to complain.

If you really don't like spam, use an email program that allows you to
script your own spam handler, like MS Outlook (gd&r). Between the Exchange
server filtering the viruses and my code filtering the spam, I rarely see
anything I don't want. Granted, I look at the spam first to make sure I'm
not killing the email from "Ms. Love" who happens to run the CPA society and
sends out emails with the subject "About your membership", but its all
neatly sorted, and if I get more than 5 in a week from the same address my
scripts ask if I want to automatically delete that sender.

its all a matter of perspective 5 bulk regular mails is like getting 50 or
60 emails its just perspective. Sometimes you just get 5 little postcards
and sometimes you get 5 of those huge books of crap you dont want ;)
