We use ArcIMS with CF for all of our apps. I believe there is one dll and a series of tags that let you interact quite nicely with it. We have found that it is easier to just use a request tag on several occasions rather than using the custom tags provided by esri. There is ONE sample CF app that comes with the installation but it's shite.
