Yes the Palestinians and Jews did live in ISrael in peace till the 80s, and yes, the first intifada did start after a millitary truck ran over some Palestinians....
The mistake is when those riots started and the Palestinians started dreaming of a homeland in the 80s, Israel should of from day crushed any rioters, like they do now, instead they worried about world opinion, if they would have killed a few thousands protesters that day, it would have been one black day for Israel but the message would have been made....they didnt and this is what they got now.. And you are forgetten that even though the Palestinians and Jews lived in peace during the 80s, its because the Palestinians never had the guts to fight at that time till the 80s , 30 plus years of occupation, u put a few people in a small room and lock the door, see how long it will take before they go crazy on you, now put millions of people in a camp and place some wires on it and see how long it will take before they go crazy, it took them 30 yrs, but look what Israel got now... Thats why Israel shouldnt from day one allow these people to live in one place, thats the mistake Israel made, it isolated them all in one small area of the country or placed them on the borders, now Israel got milions of refugees all over the borders and then millions in gaza and west bank, if they would have cleared them all from day one, this would not be a problem.... Then there was an accident in which an israeli army truck ran over some palestinians, certainly a terrible sad thing. For some reason Palestinians assumed this was not an accident and started rioting. Things went downhill from there. If the palestinians truly wanted peace they would have accepted the offers of peace from the israelis, no? ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
