Yes they are cute and smart. Wonderful animals... I miss 'em. We had to put special latches on the pens so they wouldn't open them and get out and into the grain and eat themselves into serious bloat. Ruminants will do that and they can die from it.... My family had goats for around 14 years. We also started a cheese factory which has become probably the largest in North America for goat cheese. I was the cheesemaker for seven years. One of my cheeses actually placed 2nd in the world Cheese competition. all in another lifetime, or at least it seems that way!
