I started programming because I thought computers were neat -- they did
whatever I told them to, as long as I knew how to tell them.

I got into it more deeply when I discovered that it could do my math
homework.  I hated repetitious adding, subtracting, etc. when I already knew
how to do it, but just didn't want to.

I started programming to foil the plans of my evil math teacher!
