I was looking a while ago and there are indeed some CF jobs here in
Pittsburgh.
www.msa.com I think was one of the hirers.   You could also try calling
up the folks at www.accoy.com, they're one of the bigger local
recruitment agencies.

take a stab at the job then why not... what do you have to lose :)  
just get a good written and legally enforceable compensation plan 
down...

You might also want to give Cleveland a look... They are nearby enough 
and a little lagging on filling technical jobs (not deeply organized 
tech community)...

Som jobs over here in Pittsburgh too (150 miles from ya ehh?)
