Without a doubt, GoDaddy get's a million thumbs up. They have great live support should you need their help rescuing a domain from another registrar in the event of a transfer to them (NetSol is the worst ... They hate to give up the business) and their control panel is top notch.
GoDaddy even lets you change the actual name the domain is registered to for free without having to give your firstborn as proof of ownership. (NetSol requires signed, faxed docs and $35 change fee) Domain registration can be as little as $4.95 a year (10 years, I think) and as high as $8.95 for typical TLD's. A .us is running at $7.95 a year right now. Though if you transfer a domain to GoDaddy today, you can buy a .us for $5.00 a year. And no, I do not work for them, nor do I get a referral fee. Just a happy customer. Cheers, Erika Plunge boldly into the thick of life!
