Well it's not hard to guess what happened William: Manager PHB is instructed to reduce 'overhead'.
Manager PHB takes a look at Becky, the Assistant Sr. VP. of Human Resources Level IV. Manager PHB takes a look at Vernon, some 'tech dude from down the hall who fixes computers or something'. PHB continues to write Vernon's pink slip. PHB and Becky go out for dinner that night at the 'Wharf' in his BMW SUV (the cheap model with 17" rims). They converse about the "dot.com bubble", and then laugh the night away eating Tuna Tar Tar and drinking $13 watered-down, pink cosmopolitans. PHB and Becky go back to PHB's $700k, 50 year mortgage, cookie-cutter townhouse to reduce a little 'overhead'. Becky comments on PHB's plastic palm trees and lighted water-fall from The Sharper Image. "oooooh, those are like... SOOO nice!". Or at least that's what I'd like to envision as what really happened ;) I've seen it happen before. Ok, so I'm jaded this morning. Adam. ps... sorry to hear about your job Vern. Just trying to make a little light of your situation. Mark my words, PHB WILL lose the waterfall one day. > -----Original Message----- > From: William Wheatley [mailto:bill@;ediets.com] > Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 7:40 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: Sad Day > > > Ok once again :) > > What actually happened??
