Well, I know (or at least I'm fairly certain) that the traffic I wish to see is not coming in on an odd port, i.e. I believe it uses port 80. Also I believe it is using http. I also think it is formatted as XML, but I haven't been able to confirm that yet. It passes through a router to the server that processes it and sends it back.
I am dealing with a client-side VB application that sends data to a server and receives a reply, probably using the Inet control. I want to confirm that the work being done on the client side is correct and that the data being sent to the server makes sense. If it does, then I know the strange results we are seeing probably come from a problem in the server-side code. thanks, Patrick > -----Original Message----- > From: Ben Doom [mailto:bdoom@;moonbow.com] > Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 10:28 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: software-based sniffer > > > Can you define "content coming into a web server"?
